Newspapers
Newspapers may be local papers, magazines or periodicals. The cover is generally printed in colour, while the inside pages may be produced in 1+1 black or in 4+4 colour printing.
The size is generally A4 or a slightly larger format.
Of course, custom sizes are also available.
Newspapers are generally produced as saddle-stitched publications, but if the page count is higher, the publication may also be perfect bound.
The substrate is generally coated paper or offset paper.
For weekly or fortnightly newspapers, the cover and inside pages are generally of the same gsm. (115-150 gsm) For magazines, the cover is generally heavier (200-300 gsm), while the inside pages are lighter (115-150 gsm).
For magazines, we can recommend spot UV varnish, UV hybrid varnish and foil stamping on the cover to highlight graphic elements.
