What file formats can you accept for artwork?

Can RGB or JPG be suitable for print processing?
Generally not, but you can find detailed information in our Guide document.
Can a text-only draft be submitted in Word format?
Yes, we can process it for an additional fee.
What is CMYK?
CMYK refers to the four primary printing colours from which colour prints are produced. Most software cannot process images in CMYK format; therefore, specialised DTP software is used. During prepress, we can convert RGB artwork provided by you into CMYK format.
Do you have all fonts available?
No, please supply the fonts together with the artwork. If this is not possible, please convert all text to outlines.
Can you match RAL colours?
No, for mixed inks we require colour codes to be specified according to the latest Pantone+ colour system. Various online converters are available to determine equivalent values.
Can you generate barcodes/QR codes?
Yes, based on the numeric or data sequence provided by you.
Do you proofread the text in the submitted artwork?
No, we do not proofread the text; this is always the customer’s responsibility.
What does web direction mean?
It indicates the orientation of the label on the roll, which is essential information when using a labelling machine.
What does “die” mean on the artwork previews?
It refers to the die-cutting tool used to cut out the label, which is indicated in a separate colour.
What is the minimum order quantity?
For sheet-fed printing, there are no such limitations.
For roll-fed labels, IML and shrink sleeve films, quantities should already be considered in the thousands. Digital printing is also possible, but this is only available for labels and depends on the substrate.
