Shrink Sleeve Film

Shrink sleeve film, also known as heat-shrink film, is a special plastic film placed around the product and then shrinks under the effect of heat or steam to fit tightly around it. The resulting film sleeve fully or partially encloses the product and fits it perfectly, providing an attractive appearance and extra protection.

This method enables fast and efficient packaging, even for high production volumes.

Shrink sleeve film can be produced for a wide range of shapes and sizes, including bottles, glass bottles, flacons, cans and other products.

Shrink sleeve film is available either as a glued tube (optionally with perforation) or as flat film in rolls. New: it can also be ordered individually personalised, using digital production!

Shape

The shape is always custom-sized, tailored to the given bottle, glass bottle or flacon. Body sleeve: the shrink sleeve film covers only part of the product, typically the body.

Full sleeve: the entire product is wrapped from bottom to top.

Substrate

The films may be recyclable, which can contribute to sustainable packaging solutions. PET and PP film can be easily separated from the product, and perforation can also assist this.

Available substrate options: clear film or white shrink sleeve film (matt or gloss).

Printing and Finishing

Finishing: matt or gloss varnish, raised UV varnish, 3D foil effect, cold foiling (including metallic-coloured foil). Shrink sleeve films are also available with perforation.

New: digitally produced shrink sleeve film is also available in small quantities and with individual personalisation!
